Yup I engineer music. My dad and I would trip out on how Bob Carver's Sonic holography would make the sound from the speakers sound as if the music wasn't even coming from the speakers. Sometimes if would appear as if certain instruments were coming from down the hall. That's pretty much when i fell in love with the whole mixing instruments together concept. I eventually ended up at The Institute of Audio Research where I met the infamous dj soul (what up boy!) and this girl named Caroline Jackson who I can't seem to locate anymore. (someone find her for me!) The school was kool but i really got a chance to do it when protools put out that lovely DIGI 001. Dam I loved that thing. sold it though and stepped it up to a tdm system. Now I'm rocking clubs with stuff I mixed right here in my Living room. People love recording here. They especially love when i gotta hold my daughter down while they record!!
ok more engineering stories to come. stay tuned. I think I'm just gunna start posting pics of sessions and give a brief description to how they went. ok yall. ez
